How every guide is researched, checked, dated and corrected.
Official sources first
Every guide starts from the official page or document: the university's admissions site, WAEC, the Ghana Education Service, the scholarship provider or the body that runs the programme. We link to those sources in the text and list them at the end of each guide, so you can check every fact yourself.
We do not copy figures from other blogs, WhatsApp messages or social media posts. If a detail cannot be confirmed on an official source, we leave it out or say clearly that it is unconfirmed.
Dates you can trust
Each guide shows when it was published and when it was last updated. Admission requirements, cut-off points, fees and deadlines change every year, so a guide says which year or intake it covers when that matters.
Who writes and checks the guides
Guides are written and checked by David Martey Mensah, a teacher and designer in Prampram, Ghana. Research and first drafts may be prepared with the help of AI tools. Every fact is checked against the linked official source, and every guide is reviewed by David before it is published.
Independence
Ghana Course Compass is independent. It is not part of any university, WAEC, the Ghana Education Service or any government agency, and no institution pays to appear in a guide. The site may show advertising. Ads never decide what we write about or what a guide says.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake or a rule that has changed, please tell us or email davidmartey.m@gmail.com. We check the official source, correct the guide and update its date.
Safety
We will never ask for your index number, PIN, voucher serial or payment. Always buy vouchers and apply only through the official channels a guide links to.
